San Joaquin County Superior Court DUI Jurisdiction
All DUI arrests in the county or cities located within San Joaquin County will be handled by the San Joaquin County Superior Court. This includes DUI arrests in the cities of Escalon, Lathrop, Lodi, Manteca, Ripon, Stockton, Tracy and the communities of Acampo, Farmington, French Camp, Linden, Lockeford, Morada, and Thornton.
San Joaquin County Superior Court DUI Court Process
All DUI cases are handled through the San Joaquin County Superior Court. All arraignments and pre-trial conferences are handled in the same department. This includes misdemeanors and felonies.
San Joaquin County DUI Court Specific Issues
In most DUI cases, you will be able to do alternative sentencing. In some cases, mandatory jail time is required. If you live out of county, you will need to negotiate a disposition that allows you to serve your sentence out of county or you will be required to do jail time.
