Substance Abuse Treatment
The mission of the Amador County Substance Use Disorder Division is to provide a healthy community approach to reduce the harmful effects associated with substance use disorder, while being receptive to the diversity among individuals and families.
Mental Health Treatment
Mental Health services are designed to provide strong community-based partnerships with individuals and families who are dealing with serious mental illness, including those who have co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use disorder). Recovery-oriented services include assistance with establishing stable housing, access to physical health care, medication management, trauma-informed counseling and peer supports. Behavioral Health assists with management of mental health crises for all members of the community and arranges for inpatient or temporary residential care as appropriate.
