Amador County Superior Court DUI Jurisdiction
All DUI arrests in the county or cities located within Amador County will be handled by the Amador County Superior Court. This includes DUI arrests in the cities of Amador, Ione, Jackson, Plymouth, Sutter Creek and the communities of Buckhorn, Buena Vista, Drytown, Fiddletown, Kirkwood, Martell, Pine grove, Pioneer, Red Coral, River Pines, and Volcano.
Amador County Superior COurt DUI Court Process
All DUI cases are handled through the Amador County Superior Court. All arraignments are handled in Dept. 1 or 2 and most cases will stay in that Dept. for pretrial conference. This includes misdemeanors and felonies.
Amador DUI Court Specific Issues
In most DUI cases, you will be able to do alternative sentencing. In some cases, mandatory jail time is required. In all DUI cases you will be placed on formal probation meaning you will have a probation officer assigned to your case.
